Flower Seasons
Our company philosophy is to work very closely with the British seasons and to offer a range of fabulous flowers that are difficult to find in the supermarkets and most florists.
In our flower paddocks this year we will be growing: ( just a taster !!!)
SRING - Hyacinth, Narcissi, Tulips, Alliums, hedgerow foliage such as Cow Parsley, Tree Blossom.
SUMMER - Scented garden roses ( over 20 old fashioned varieties), cottage garden flowers, a vast collection of herbs, hedgerow flowers.
AUTUMN - Most of the summer flowers are still available,but in addition we will have, Asters, Dahlia's.
WINTER - We start to forage around Birchwood Park for the ingrediants for our Christmas wreaths and bouquets which include, Crab Apples, Ivy, Eucalyptus, Winter Jasmine, Rosehips, Winter Honeysuckle.
During the Winter/Beg of Spring, we source our cut flowers from as many English growers as possible for our bouquets, due to our main growing season being from April to Oct.
